Meet Our Founder
The Founder Miss Alisa D. Boyd decided that being a foster parent was not enough to help children awarded to the state, with that decision she decided to go back to school, to enhance her knowledge, after experiencing the difficulties, joys and sorrows of parenting foster children. She obtained a bachelors’ degree; majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Legal Studies. Miss Boyd has over 15 years of experience with reforming children. She is a community advocate and volunteer for the homeless.
Miss Boyd extended her vision to recover, rebuild and, restore youth with a faith-based organization called Mother Dillard's Village of Hope, Inc., after the death of her grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Dillard, aka Mother Dear. Mrs. Dillard was the wife of the late Rev. Robert Charles Dillard.
While remaining focused on their desires and views of helping others, Miss Boyd’s grandparents assisted her and many others with overcoming troubling childhood issues.
